PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Office of Executive Officer, Security Staff of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Responsibilities You will develop security policy and design, develop, evaluate, and supervise the installation of protection systems and devices.
You will inspect and verify adequacy of all security containers and security locks in use.
You will be responsible for planning, layout design, installation, and inspection of all facilities, security alarm and access control systems where sensitive information is located.
You will perform contracting officer representative duties in accordance with established policies/procedures.
You will maintain detailed and the most current information regarding potential threats and vulnerabilities to the command.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in planning, layout design, installation and inspection of all facilities, security alarm and access control systems; Experience of physical security, maintains inventory control and accountability of all physical security containers, keys and locks; Experience conducting assigned investigations and inspections concerning losses of property, security violations and other administrative or criminal matters.
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience of software for alarm and access control systems to maintain and configure the systems; Experience conducting scheduled checks of entire system; Experience solving common technical or procedural problems in accordance with experience, training or accepted practices.
